Featured Friend of the Week – “The Rock”

Arrrooo fellow pets and humans! Rwwow, I’ve got a celebrity with me today. Yep, his name is The Rock. Well, he isn’t that Hollywood guy but he is a big dog and that’s famous enough for me, WOOF! His guardian, Christina Jones, helps with educating people on MRSA (methicillin-resistant staphyloccocus aureus). My Mom does the same thing for animals, with The Bella Moss Foundation. That’s how we met Christina! So me and Rock have LOTS in common! We’re both big dogs, we both have humans who rrreally love us, and we have humans who fight for us and what’s right! So bring it on Rock, WOOF!
Hiya Shadrach! Thank you for having me on this week. It’s grrreat to be on a big dog blog too, WOOF! We ROCK -pun intended! Here’s my Mom to tell you a tidbit about me…
“The Rock:” (isn’t he just a babe??)
Rock is a bloodhound/lab mix from the shelter (neutered) that is the best dog!
He is the best hunter (both birds and animals), he fetches the newspaper for his daddy every morning, and is just so well behaved, gentle and loving (well, except for that small trash problem..LOL).

Thanks, Shad, for featuring the Rock…he is so excited! Maybe he will be too preoccupied with his stardom to raid the trash today–I can only hope! I hope you two are doing very well, and are all ready for Christmas!!
PS- did you notice our Texas yard isn’t in much better shape than your NM yard is (and replace that mud up there with dry cracked ground now…)??

Hehe, Christina we dogs like messy yards! Mostly our humans don’t care bepaws they know that we dogs are more impawtant than having purrfect yards, WOOF!
All I know is that The Rock looks pretty happy in the mud there!

I guess his head is gonna be so swelled up from all of this Publicity that he won’t be able to fetch the paper anymore, much less want to retrieve ducks in the cold water
