Okay humans before I share this I want to share a couple of facts so some of this stupid Breed Specific Legislation (BSL or dog genocide) so maybe the insanity will stop. First of ALL dogs are predators/carnivores. We are not furry animated toys as Dr. Lonsdale says. We are house wolves, carnivores, predators. The pet food industry and others hoping to capitialize on dumbing down the public into believing we are anything but this are behind a lot of this insanity and now they are wanting to bandaid it all with BSL. STUPID! If you think it’s going to end with just pitbulls, think again. MANY and I mean MANY breeds are on the hit list. Almost ALL large and giant breeds and even some small and medium breeds. The idea is to end ALL dog ownership and effectively ALL domesticated dogs. Yeah, that’s going to solve the world problems. OY humans can be rrreally stupid, WOOF! Knowning the NATURE of the animal you choose to bring home and live with you would end most of this bepaws then you’d get it and not just try and denigrate and annihilate breeds as a solution. Best Friends you have just made things worse, gee thanks and I thought you were supposed to care about us. Yeah right, grrrr.

If you were out in the wide open plains of Africa on the Serengeti, would you walk out there all nonchalant without protection? I don’t think so. Why? Bepaws of predators. What do predators typically go for when they go for a kill? The weakest one in a herd, often the babies. Do you get all freaked out about that? No. Why? Bepaws they’re wild animals? Well a dog’s DNA is almost identical to a wolf’s. While we have lived with humans and been domesticated our basic instincts as a hunter, predator, carnviore are still there. So who is really to blame in these dog mauling situations, hmmmmm???

Yeah, punish the car that killed the people in the other car but let the drunk driver go, yep, that makes sense. Okay, I am going to go have a long nap, especially since I just ate…something all predators do after a good meal. Now here is the concerned pit bull owner’s words we’ve been allowed to cross post:

I wanted to share with you part of a message I just received from a concerned pit bull owner in Jamestown, Tennessee (which is about 45 minutes or so from me). In the message, he is asking for help to educate residents on pit bulls before a ban is proposed to officials.

Why are residents of Jamestown talking about banning pit bulls? As you will read below, the idea was generated by the recent Best Friends dangerous dog summt. THANK YOU, Best Friends, for jeopardizing my ability to own my dogs and for helping to spread false information and misleading hype about my breed of choice.

Yes, there has been talk that the Best Friends sancuary is trying to put a ban on pitbulls because they say that are a vicious breed and that should be done away with. I say that they dont know what they are talking about, and i have a new member to my family. It is little male pit bull. here is a picture of my new family member. I will see if my friend will let you use the lodge to do an education seminar on pit bulls.

Rather than focus on the issue of irresponsible dog ownership, Best Friends has decided to campaign against certain breeds – nevermind the fact that any dog, regardless of breed, can be made aggressive and/or dangerous in the hands of an irresponsible owner.

I am begging everyone, if you already haven’t, to please withdraw any type of support to Best Friends… .the money and support you give them today may help to exterminate YOUR dog tomorrow.
