Pet-Assisted Therapy: How Animals Help Us Heal
By Shadrach on Mar 14, 2008 in Animal Talk, Naturally!, Dog Behavior, Training, Intelligence
Well my mom will be the first to say that I am the one who helped her get out of her “comfort zone” and go all the way into natural health just so she could help me, WOOF! That was my plan all along hehe!
This week on Animal Talk Naturally, we were supposed to have former guest and author, Teri Wilson, joining us once again to talk about the pet-assisted therapy she does with her special dog, Nellie. However Teri wasn’t able to make it because she broke her nose right before the show! So we pinch-hitted and talked about how animals help us to heal. Two of the Blog Talk Radio show hosts, Lillian Brummet of Conscious Discussions and Barbara Howard of The Recipe Box, were in the audience so they called in and helped the show flow. It was a fun and relaxed show and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
Our Guests
Let me be a little kinder,
Let me be a little blonder
To the faults of those around me,
Let me praise a little more. ~ Edgar A. Guest
In about the same degree as you are helpful, you will be happy.
