About Bark at the Capitol
Bark at the Capitol (www.barkatthecapitol.org) is an event hosted by the Concerned Dog Owners of California (CDOC), a non-profit association dedicated to the protection and promotion of dogs. It’s a day to rejoice in the bonds we share with our dogs; recognize the contributions that they have made to our lives; and a time to meet other owners who share our love for our four-legged family members. A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to the CDOC (http://www.cdoca.org) and Vet Dogs (http://www.vetdogs.org). The VetDogs project is a new program from the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind, Inc. which trains and supplies guide dogs for visually impaired veterans and service dogs for those who have disabilities other than blindness.

Hello, My name is Lindsay Green and I have two great dogs that I am unable to keep. I have really bad allergies that I did not have before. When I am around my dogs I have asthma attacks. I had to move out of my house with my husband and in with a friend till we find something to do with them. I don’t know what to do with them. I tried to find people that would take them but so far no luck. I cant keep living with my friend. I am scared that if I don’t find them a home with in the next week or 2 I might have to take them to a shelter. I am scared to do that. They are my baby’s and getting read of them is going to be very hard but it looks like that’s my only option. What do you suggest that I do with them? Who can I call?Thank you,Lindsay Green
