Joyfully Julie

Oh another BEAUTIFUL girl dog with me this week who goes by the lovely name of Julie, WOOF! Even better, she’s a little older than me so we’d make a perfect match, WOOF! Well, except she lives with my friends from the previous two weeks Myone & Niko, sigh. Well a guy can always wish! Here’s Julie and in the words of her mom her story…

From Melanie, Julie’s human Mom:
Julie is my oldest canine who is in her last days as I write this. Julie has only had one set of puppy shots. I never gave anyone here any more than one set of puppy shots but now know that even that was too much. Her health has started to fail her this past fall and into the winter. She is an 11 year old Newfie cross. Mom was a purebred. She was my only dog at the time I got her and ate rather well til I increased the pack numbers which is when I switched to mostly all kibble so her life has been a bit mixed concerning diet. She does a strict raw food diet now with kelp, fish oils and an occasional egg added in addition to every kind of red meat there is out there and some chicken.
I never noticed vaccine damage in her except she did develop high prey drive and had to be watched around cats and small animals. She never had ear problems or skin issues but has had skin problems the last few months.
