COMFORTIS® and ivermectin interaction Safety Warning Notification

Well, don’t look at me bepaws I’m pretty happy I’m drug & chemical free myself, WOOF! I’m rrreally glad the more I hear about these safety notifications and recalls that my humans don’t use ANY of these things and feed me a natural species appropriate diet, essential oils and an aromatherapy spray so the fleas, ticks and other pests don’t bug me - all NATURAL, WOOF! So don’t shoot the messenger, I’m just sharing what is on the FDA’s website so you will also know…just in case you didn’t.

COMFORTIS® and ivermectin interaction Safety Warning Notification
Today the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM) is announcing that it has received reports of adverse reactions in dogs receiving the drug Comfortis® (spinosad) concurrently with high, extra-label doses of the drug ivermectin. The clinical signs of these adverse reactions are consistent with ivermectin toxicity.
