Frankie the Walk ‘N’ Roll Dog – Show #186
Oh I’m so tail waggin’ happy to be sharing this story! Frankie reminds me of a good friend of mine who went to heaven, Emma the Corgi! And Frankie is doing some grrreat work in this world to show that even though we may be different it doesn’t mean we aren’t worthy and can’t contribute a whole lot to the human life. I mean we even help human health improve: Pets Can Improve Your Health and Aid in Recovery
You see we don’t worry about our disabilities, we just accept them and work around them. Mom believes we set the example for the human world. While this book was written for children, I personally think any human could benefit from learning about a little dog with a disability and how much she has given to the world as a result of her challenges.

This is a TRUE story and a very inspirational one at that! And we like Frankie’s Mom’s (Barbara Techel) motto too : Always be positive and keep on rolling!
I’d recommend everyone who has pets and children to get a copy of this pawsome book…in fact it would be a great addition to any school library as well that wants to teach children the value of others even if they’re different! The illustrations by Victoria Kay Lieffring are gorgeous, simply gorgeous! She captures the heart and soul of Frankie in this book!
Here is a photo of the real life Frankie with her human mom, Barbara:

… aren’t they gorgeous! Inside and out – I’d love to tease Frankie the way I always teased Ms. Emma one day, WOOF! Look for them to be our guests on Animal Talk Naturally on August 5, 2008 at 2:30 PM LIVE on BlogTalk Radio! YIPPEE!!!
