Veterinarian advocates alternative pet care

I say bark it loud doc – like a Neo Mastiff, bark it! Bepaws I think there is a new day dawning and that is on the REAL traditional health, currently called “alternative” health. I’ve got news for you humans, biomedicine is the alternative health bepaws NATURAL health has been around since the beginning of time, WOOF! So let’s stop playing the word games and wake up and smell nature, WOOF! I’m glad some veterinarians are beginning to speak out…ever notice it is mostly the ones who’ve been in practice for a lot of years who discovered that their biomedical training alone wasn’t getting the job done, hmmm?

Well we know why, bepaws it wasn’t intended to ever be the ONLY medicine…the new kid on the block just wanted to take over and monopolize – with no regard for true health, WOOF! Heroics are great but lets not throw out the puppy with the bath water folks!

Before I forget, here’s the news
:
Holistic vet advocates alternative pet care

And this is the result of reductiionist thinking in this country – wanting to monopolize an entire health care system with ONLY biomedicine…DOH! US Ranks Dead Last in Preventive Medicine

Have a pawsitively tail waggin, NATURALLY healthy day, WOOF!

I am trying to find info on an alternative approach to dealing with a lame cat. without spending $1500.00 for an MRI on her the vet is telling me amputation is my only other option! I am recently unemployed so there will be no MRI. But I can’t believe there isn’t something I can do to give her back use of this leg. Can you help to direct me to a website perhaps that may be able to help?

    Hi Fran,

What was the diagnosis of your cat’s leg? Why amputation? The help you need is all really dependent on what the diagnosis is. If it bone cancer then you have a lot of things you can do. Or if it is a cruciate or ACL then there are herbs, etc. you can use. One good site to just find out what your cat really needs to be well and thrive is http://www.rawfedcats.org
