What does my bark mean?

Barking a tune

I have a very wide and extensive range of barks and sounds that I make bepaws I’m the best talker my humans have ever seen in a dog, WOOF! I can tell my dad to stop bugging my mom when he’s bugging her - and I tell him too! He knows EXACTLY what I’m barking about, WOOF! And I can make noises to let them know I need to go out to poop or pee too - a pretty important talent in the dog world…that and “I want food NOW!”. And I can growl ferociously when I’m playing tuggie bepaws I want to be the winner - but it’s not scary and they know the difference from that and my scary, serious growl! My humans are pretty tuned in to me so they know what the heck I’m saying - they were pretty easy to train hehe.

NOW there is scientific proof on what our barks mean…but if you’re rrreally listening to your dog, you can understand what your dog is saying - but you must be listening!

Isn’t it amazing that we’re learning to “decode” how animals communicate? I think it’s so interesting how subtle some of their channels of communication can be. Quality post, happy to have found the link that you posted as well. Looking forward to learning more about how to feed my pups! Stumbled!
