Paws for Reading
By Shadrach on Sep 23, 2008 in Animal Talk, Naturally!, Human-Dog bond
I’m a VERY smart dog – mom tells me that ALL the time, WOOF! And proof is right here in the reading, yep! DOGS are helping HUMAN children to learn to read better and it helps them with all sorts of other things too, like self-esteem and dog responsibility, YIPPEE!
This time on Animal Talk Naturallynew guest, Risa Hoag – a member of the ‘Reading Education Assistance Dogs’® (R.E.A.D.®) program – joins us to talk about how she and her special dog Annie help children to improve their skills under the HVVPP Paws for Reading program which they helped launch.
The Message: Working with dogs and children while boosting esteem and humane care for both – what could be better!
