Terracycle Natural Household Products

shadrach_in_his_bed092Recently MOI got asked to check out the products from a company that uses ALL recycled materials. When they say ALL they meant it, WOOF! I’ve not used the products bepaws after all I am a dog, hehe, but my humans have used ALL of the ones they sent and they rrrreally like them. So let me bark a little about what they are and why you ought to want to go a la naturel with your home cleaning products, your yard and garden supplies, and well EVERYTHING, WOOF!

First of all, we came from nature humans. The only reason that people no longer use natural substances to clean with is bepaws of big corporations advertising dollars spent to convince you to use their chemical laden products. And it has worked, but not on your health or ours. In fact, the inside of most homes is the most toxic place around. Can you believe that? And then you humans use all these toxic cleaners on the floors in your home and in your yards and guess where we are most often found lying around??? Uh huh. No wonder we’re much sicker than ever before in history contrary to popular MYTH that we animals are living longer and more quality lives. NOT. Nope. No way. We’re living shorter, sicker lives – which does keep some humans profiting as we know. The only difference is we are now part of the family unlike in previous generations where we were considered more as “help” to work around the place. I’m not sure that has given us any more quality of life, although we do get more hugs and kisses. At any rate I digress from my main topic on Terracycle products. petco_group_shot_small

My mom LOVES the Natural Bathroom Cleaner – and she uses it in the kitchen too bepaws it smells so nice and works so well but without that toxic chemical smell humans like to associate with clean these days. It has essential oils in it which is my Mom’s favorite natural modality of choice. She’s used up the Garden Fertilizer – it’s really liquid WORM POOP, my FAVORITE hehe! Also an All Purpose Plant Food which works REALLY well – at least our plants love it! And there is a Stain & Odor Remover for floors – you know if your dog or cat does something unseemly for humans. And the best thing of all, a Stool Destroyer! Well they have a lot more products than that but that’s a grrrreat start for you humans. You can find the products in your local PETCO.

And no, I’m not gettin’ paid to say all this, I just got to watch my Mom try them all out. And she really loves the products, WOOF! And she knows I’m safe with them. Plus, they use ALL recycled materials. A young student from Princeton, Tom Szaky, came up with this idea as a way to help the environment and reduce waste. It’s refreshing to know that many young humans are taking the initiative to do the right thing by us and the planet, WOOF! You can find out more by reading their press release and then do the right thing by us animals, yourselves and the planet by using ONLY natural, organic cleaners and fertilizers, WOOF!

Here is an article to help you learn more of the dangers of standard household products and why NOT to use them:
Pet Health and Chemical Cleaning Agents
Here’s a common complaint we hear: My pet is sick and my vet can’t figure out why. Many times, it is not their fault! They are trained to treat the symptoms that stem from something that is likely to be temporary condition; no way can they effectively treat constant health threats like household cleaners or air fresheners.

I think it’s a good idea to use natural household products. I’ve been using them, for the most part, for several years. Some are just things like vinegar, lemon juice, baking soda and borax. Using less chemicals is not only good for our pets but good for us humans as well.
