YIPPEE! Our good friend – and my Mom’s colleague who hosts Animal Talk Naturally with her too – veterinary naturopath, Dr. Jeannie Thomason, recently had her article, The Dangers of Chemical Flea & Tick Products published in the magazine, Coast To Coast, the official publication of The Boston Terrier Club Of America!
Way to go Dr. Jeannie, WOOF! We’re excited for her bepaws this means that mainstream is starting to listen (maybe not heeding altogether yet but listening) to a natural, TRUE preventive approach to the health and wellbeing of us dogs, WOOF! Dr. Jeannie has been naturally rearing Boston Terrorists…um hehe, Terriers, excuse me, for 25 years.
I was excited to learn that she will be an ongoing columnist for the magazine. Maybe then more and more Bostons and other dog breeds will benefit from all their humans learn about the truly natural approach to canine care.
Here is a bit more about Dr. Jeannie:
With 30 years of practical experience with animal health, she has worked with animals holistically since 1984. Having been a licensed Veterinary Technician and later graduating from Kingdom College of Natural Health with her doctorate in veterinary naturopathy, she is qualified and adept at consulting and educating. Hey Abbey!
I have met one in my neighbor – he walks with his owner everyday. But I’m so macho I didn’t go meet him and I think bepaws I’m so big, I might’ve been a little scary to him, WOOF! Besides he’s very business like in his black and white suit and means to get his walk in with NO distractions hehe.
I think YOU would be grrreat to meet Abbey and play with at a dog park. I LOVE girl dogs of ANY size, WOOF! Maybe you and Maya would like to share your photos with me so I could feature you here on my blog???
