Gone to the Dogs

discussing_politics Hey, what’s better than that anyway??? Dog artist, Nancy Schutt (whom I’ve featured here before on Bark N Blog) let us know that she was invited to show at Denise Bibro Fine Art in New York, who is presenting Gone to the Dogs, a canine-themed exhibition showcasing the work of 22 artists and 3 painting pooches, on view October 8 through November 7, 2009.
Here is more of what she shared about this sure to be a pawsome exhibit – especially bepaws it’s ALL about DOGS:
Curated by Almitra Stanley, Olympia Lambert and Denise Bibro, the exhibition encompasses painting, photography, video, and mixed media sculptural assemblage, featuring works that run the gamut of the conceptual and aesthetic continuum. A celebration of man’s best friend exploring our multi-faceted relationship with the beloved dog, the works are endearing, nostalgic, laugh-out-loud funny, regal, and profoundly beautiful. Here is a taste of Nancy’s art Daisy
