Pet Oxygen Masks Needed for Fire Trucks

Now that so many humans have pets AND that they leave inside when they are gone it does behoove everyone to think about our safety, especially in the event of a fire. That’s a horrible thing to think about but with the holidays coming up, it’s almost always inevitable that someone experiences a fire and lose pets that are in the house. Most of them die from smoke inhalation way before the fire gets them. My human watched the movie “BOLT” last night so of course this was on her mind hehe.
And if the firemen had some pet oxygen masks for their trucks it might make a difference for a few animals. I know they use the human masks but having masks made especially for us animals could make a world of difference. If you’d like to help just go to this link http://www.petsafetygear.com/home.

That’s really an awesome idea. Some of the communities in southern Ontario are not only getting masks, the firefighters are taking lessons in CPR for animals. Cool eh??
