Desi the Howl-o-Ween Rott N Chow

Desi, oh Desi you are such a beauty, WOOF! This is Desi my cousin. Yes of course I know she is not a Neo Mastiff, she’s my cousin through my human side of the family hehe. Desi lives with my Uncle Per & Aunt Melanie. She’s quite elegant in her costume don’t you think? I think she thinks so too judging by the photo.
Desi is a girl after my own heart for many reasons. First as you can see she likes talking to her humans. Secondly she also is a former abuse victim who was rescued and now loved beyond imagination just like MOI! Desi still isn’t overly fond of humans, except for her own that is, but she sure does like dogs, WOOF! And hey, what’s not to like about us anyway, ruh? 
My human went out to visit Uncle Per & Aunt Melanie when they lived in Southern Cal, for National Dog Day 2007 – which just happened to be in Malibu that year. Anyway, that is when my human got to meet Desi. When my human and Aunt Melanie took Desi for a walk (they lived in an apartment then but have since moved to a house here in NM with a big yard which Desi greatly appreciates of course) anyone they encountered always commented how much like a little bear Desi resembled. Well Desi just takes all her cuteness in stride!
Anyway, I think she and I could be great friends if we lived closer (Desi lives in the neighboring town but we’re still about 45 minutes away from each other). She is just too gorgeous for mere words isn’t she?
