Dogs ARE better than cats!

movie_star2 Well this is my kind of book, WOOF! Although my human doesn’t agree with the author, Bradley Trevor Grieve’s assessment of cats, I sure do hehe. Except cats are carnivores so we do have THAT in common, WOOF! The title is Why Dogs Are Better Than Cats -- which has now justified dogs everywhere, hehe.

I’m sure that is a primary reason why cats and dogs have been considered enemies -- carnivores always want to eliminate any competition for food sources. WDABTC_jacket-ARTjb.indd

This book was pretty funny and the photography by Rachael Hale is quite simply da bomb! Cat lovers will love this book just for the incredible photographs of cats within this book! Plus, the author does share some of the pluses to owning a cat and some of the challenges to owning a dog, so all is fair in love and war hehe.

Let me share a couple of little tidbits with you from pages 134 and 136:

One can only imagine how much better the world would be if more people had enjoyed the company of a decent dog early in life. Might we, the depraved descendants of Adam and Eve, still be enjoying the vegan nudist utopia of Eden had the original couple sought an honest dog’s second opinion about the lies lisped to them by the glittering serpent? Probably. (page 134).

Would the Israelites have escaped bondage in Egypt much faster if they had not been at least partially indoctrinated into cat culture? I say yes. (page 136).

Hehe and that’s just the tip of the cattail, WOOF! Here’s a little more visual taste for those of you who need physical proof:

Pretty great kudos for us dogs, WOOF!

Have a pawsitively tail waggin’, NATURALLY healthy, Dogs are Better Than Cats day, WOOF!

Hate to say this… my mom is allergic to cats… She reminds me that she loves cats but she can’t handle the cat fur…

While watching the video, we looked at each other and grinned from ear to ear. Mom constantly reminds me that she loves me. I know that she tells me true…

I don’t know about cats. I tolerate them as they me. But I love my humans more!!!

    Hiya Toby-wan!

You’re a better dog than me bepaws I can’t even tolerate cats – except here on my blog since my mom makes me, sigh. It’s either that or she takes back over the blog and I don’t want that, WOOF!

I love my humans too but not cats!

Hope you’re feeling better Toby-wan. Sending you lots of slobber and tail wags,

    Shadrach the Neo Mastiff

    To ~ the Shad,

Since I saw my first cat, I thought it was a very funny lookin’ dog. And I thought I’d seen them all at the dog park!! Once, we were visiting some friends with cats and I wanted to play. He bolted and I got scolded. Ma’s cat person’s hubby got so riled up with the two of us. Sigh… Just not right, don’t you think? So now, I pretty much ignore these creatures. Something about them that doesn’t make much sense…

I can certainly feel the power of your tail wags!!! I have a stump of a tail since the breeder took it away because of the breed standards. Ma always watches my tail because she loves to watch my expressions of happiness from my tail to my eyes. She wished that my tail had remain untouched but it was too late.

Thanks for your well wishes too! I am feeling better, slowly yet steadily. Ma told me that you’ve been feeling better. YIPEE!!!! High PAWS to you!!!

Pant, pant, and a double nudge to you!

    Toby-wan
